5ive Points: Molly Cameron Edition

If you race or follow cyclocross, you are most likely familiar with Molly Cameron. A fixture in the Portland scene, Molly has her hands in everything. Whether it’s racing for her own Portland Bicycle Studio, or running Veloshop, she is as prolific as they come.

Molly was gracious enough to submit to our 5ive Points mini-interview the other day:

NYC Velo: What kind of bike do you ride?

Molly Cameron: I am a veldrijder. My bike = top secret for this coming season!

On the road, Ridley bicycles suffice.

NYCV: What is your favorite ride?

MC: Saltzman road in Portland.

NYCV: What is your favorite recovery food/guilty pleasure?

MC: Rare and expensive chocolate. And kale. Separately of course.

NYCV: Is there a part, or piece of apparel, that you can’t live (ride) without?

MC: FMB tubular tyres.

NYCV: What’s next for you in cycling?

MC: Progression. Taking it to the next level. Turning the volume up to 11 for the 2010-2011 cyclocross season. US tour + Japan + Europe? Yes, yes, yes!!

Thanks Molly! Best of luck to you this season!!
