Shop Ride: StatenCX Hangover Ride: 11.14.10

Here we are again: It’s time to send out our rallying call to bring cyclists together for our entertaining and now-regularly-occurring shop ride.  And this one’s a doozie.

Let’s call it the Staten CX Hangover ride.  We have a few special guests this time around:  Namely, all the cool dudes that are coming from all over the country for the race.   Erik Tonkin will be in attendance, as will the crew from IndyFab.  Let’s call it a co-branded bike ride:  Kona and IF holding hands, rolling down the tarmac together.  It’ll be a beautiful sight.

Our good friend Erik (from Vice Mag) will once again be leading our riders on a yet-to-be determined route.  Depending on the mood, we can either go over the bridge or do a few laps in the park and then jet back to the shop for caffeinated concoctions (Courtesy of Ben from Think Coffee, of course.)

Brisk Fall weather is here,  so let’s get some great riding in before everyone becomes trainer-ridden.

To sum up:

Who: Everyone is invited! Tonkin and the IF crew will be ‘da the house.

What: NYC Velo Monthly Shop Ride

When: Sunday, November 14.  Meet at the shop at 8AM.  We leave at 830.

Where: The ride begins and ends at NYC Velo- 64 2nd Ave (between 3rd and 4th St)

Why: Because we love riding bikes!

Ben from Think Coffee will be in da’ house creating espresso-based masterpieces just for you.  Delicious, delicious baked goods from Blue Sky Bakery will also be provided in order to further convince you to show up and ride your awesome bike with awesome people.  Saddle up!
