Staten CX 4.0

Is it already time for our favorite CX race? How time flies.

Staten CX is back for its fourth go around on Saturday, November 12th. It’s the pride and joy of the NYC CX community, and we’ve been involved with the race since it first began. As we’ve mentioned here on the News page before, we have a whole line of Kona Jake the Snake CX bikes available to use for free on Race Day, and Kona will be flying Pro cyclocrossing caveman Erik Tonkin out for another go around.

The course is a fun and challenging mix of terrain, covering a 2.5km circuit of grass, gravel, pavement, and hard-packed dirt. The course also includes two sets of artificial barriers (two 40cm high planks places 4 meters apart), a beach run, and a potential return of the cinnabon of death.
