Argonaut Road Frameset - 54cm
The Argonaut Road Bike is the epitome of the handmade carbon frame. Made one at a time in Bend, OR, each Argonaut benefits from builder Ben Farver's long-perfected method of modifying the direction of the carbon weave in a frame so that it affects stiffness in different areas. Head tubes can be reinforced, internal seat posts can be featured — or not, bottom brackets can be beefed up, while the rear triangle can be slimmed down to increase compliance — even to the point where the ‘feel’ of a carbon frame can resemble that of a steel model.
This Argonaut was made specifically for NYC Velo and designed for rim brakes and a wireless group set ONLY. This bike is unridden and comes with a Chris King headset and T47 bottom bracket along with our logo custom-painted onto the seatstays. Currently available discounted from the retail price of $7000 (including the headset and BB). This frame is a final sale & not eligible for return.
