Oversized, heat-treated Columbus Spirit tubing; Stiff hooded droupouts; beefy 18mm chainstays; it's no wonder that the Marcelo (derived from the Latin adjectival form of Marcus, meaning "hammer") is meant as Pegoretti's race-oriented frame, going so far as to lead Tom Boonen to his green jersey win at the 2007 Tour de France.
This frame is a one-off pista (or "track") frame, built with rear-facing track dropouts and no option to attach a derailleur.
Adorned in the shop's favorite Masperi paint scheme, this bike is a real showstopper. Ready for a leisurely stroll around or just as equally for some hard laps at the local velodrome.
Built as pictured with Campagnolo Pista drivetrain, handbuilt Campagnolo München 72 rims laced to Campagnolo low flange track hubs, with Pegoretti steel fork and Chris King D11 headset.
Frameset is available separately, please contact email@example.com for more information.
